Hi I’m Natalie. Mum to Caleb who is 5 and 19 month old girls Mia and Chloe.
I found out I was expecting the girls at 8 weeks and had them at 29+5 weeks as they decided it was to be better out than in and they had been cooked enough.
I love attending on Fridays to be amongst people with other multiples and I have made many a new friend. I have had absolutely no experience of multiples before so to go into an environment where there are so many and you get to see them all grow up is amazing.
Everyone at the club is really helpful and advice is always given when you need it or if you just need someone to talk to.
My son loves attending on Friday mornings on school holidays and hates being left out as he has so much fun and we all enjoy the days out as a family. Being a twin Mum especially with another child is hard work but it is so rewarding on many different levels and I for one wouldn’t change it for the world.
Hello! I'm Louise, mummy to Phoebe and Matilda (2).
I was very happy to find out I was pregnant with twins following fertility treatment, and so lucky to have an uncomplicated pregnancy. I was induced at 37 weeks and the girls arrived at 37+2!
We have been going to twins club since the girls were 6 months old and they love it. They feel totally comfortable there and it's lovely for them to be able to play and explore a little more independently in such a familiar environment.
The membership benefits are great too. We love the summer trip and the soft play - it can be hard to take twins to soft play on your own but the exclusive bookings make it a lot less scary for me and safer for the girls!
Hi I’m Rachel mum to 14 month old twins Sebastian and Theodore. I took a huge step to continue to have IVF after I split with my partner and decided to have treatment in Spain using a donor. On the 5th round it was successful and was over the moon when I found out I was having twins at my 6 week scan. The boys were born naturally at 32 weeks and spent 16 days on the neonatal unit before coming home. Then the fun and games started as I didn’t even have a pushchair at this point! We first came to twins club when they was 4 weeks old as I was desperate to get out the house. Everyone was so welcoming and the boys pretty much slept the whole time in the baby corner. It was so nice to get out the house and speak to other twin mum’s and get advice. We try to come every Friday as the boys absolutely love going and get excited even just walking through the doors and it’s nice to be in an environment without the typical twin questions that you get at some of the other groups. The support from other mums has been amazing and it’s nice knowing that they can go and play and you can relax slightly for a couple of hours. Me and my boys have made friends at club and in moments when I’ve doubted myself/been sleep deprived or even had milestones to share I’ve always found twins club a safe place to do this.
